"Women's Wellness Weekend" Camp

   Several Women joined us to Celebrate Winter and Wellness at Camp Edwards,  escaping from the distractions of daily life,  Reconnecting with friends, Relaxing by a warm fire and  Re-energizing from the chaos of the holidays.

   Activities included Yoga, Massage, Nature Hikes, Cross Country Skiing, Guest Speaker, Winter Birding and Time to just "Be"!

   Plan on joining us in 2012 for what has become an annual Camp.  Women's Wellness Weekend 20121 will take place from January 27 - 29th  in our Hoffer and Runge Lodges.  Sign up soon!  Download the Women's Wellness Camp Registration Form from our Forms page.

Women's Wellness Camp

June 8 - 14, 2012

THE PERFECT WAY TO BEGIN YOUR SUMMER!
   Whether you choose to camp alone or bring friends, this June you could get physical with swimming the lake, playing volleyball, attending fitness classes, taking daily bike rides, kayaking or canoeing. Other adventures include low-rope activities like walking a tightrope, or scaling a 12 foot wall, or even challenge our new climbing tower!  Or if you prefer, you can always kick back, relax, lay in the sun and just take it easy! In addition there will be informal workshops, a painting class, or read a book and attend a book discussion. You can even pamper yourself with a manicure, pedicure, or a massage.

   The week's schedule is designed so campers can choose to participate in activities that match their fitness level and interest. The fitness staff offers exercise blocks throughout the day. Such activities as Yoga, Pilates, Step Aerobics, Resistance weight training, and Resist-a-Ball are offered as well as team events. Other activities might include a pontoon boat ride, karaoke night, belly/tap or country line dancing, movie night, board games and even a free night.

   Although spacious enough to find privacy and solitude, you'll always have someone to chat with if you are feeling social.
